06.21.2004 Update!

• My friend Sedensky Istvan flew up this Thursday night and I made a sign to greet him with. In English it reads, "Angel, with bus, to Auke Bay". This is a 12 year old joke of my Uncle Jozsi's. My Uncle picked us up in Germany after we had arrived. It was raining and he hade a sign, "Angel, with trailer, to Grunkraut".

• The dulcinea is making progress and actually is fixed now, but I don't have a new enough picture yet:

• I took Istvan to see the Mendenhall Glacier which is nearby:

• Rick's kitchen on Shelter Island:
  
• Here is some soska, or sorrel in english, that is growing in Rick's garden on Shelter Island. The seeds for this soska were carried over in our grandmothers pocket when my father's family emmigrated from Hungary in 1956.

  Finally a nice sunset from up atop a tree in the Muskeg in shelter island. Notice the snow capped mountains near the horizon, the day this picture was taken it was 90 degrees outside!
