TOPIC: Emerging Cyber Threats: How hackers became mobsters and spies

The lecture will cover:

  • The threat posed by cyber-organized crime groups that target computer networks and users to steal personally identifiable information,
  • Financial information and state-sponsored cyber groups that target ISPs, Universities, and businesses to steal intellectual property, education research, and national security secrets.
