Admisssion Information
An applicant
to the MCIS program is not only required to meet the College of Graduate Studies requirements but also the Departmental Admission Requirements. The requirements are summarized here for a quick reference:
To complete the admission procedures, graduate degree applicants must submit the following:
- A completed application must be submitted not less than six weeks prior to the term of desired entrance.
- One copy of the Official Transcripts of every college or universiy previously attended by the applicant must be sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
- Submit GRE/GMAT results, as required by the college of Graduate Studies and/or the graduate degree program. (GRE is preferred).
- Submit a non-refundable Graduate Application fee of $ 30.(For more details please refer the College of Graduate Studies Catalog ).
In addition to the college of graduate studies requirements, the student must satisfy the following requirements:
- A cumulative undergraduate grade point average(GPA) of 2.75 or better.
- Completed either the Grduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
- For applicants whose native language is not english, a score on the TOEFL of atleast 550 (197 for the computer based test) and a score at the 5th percentile or better on the verbal portion of the GRE or GMAT. - An official transcript from each college and university previously attended.
