Department of Computer and Information Science

Summary of CIS / CSC Program Changes for Fall 2009

Overview

Several changes will be made to the Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science (BSCIS) degree, which includes both the Computer and Information Science (CIS) and Computer Science (CSC) concentrations.

These changes were approved at all levels of the University over the past year. This began as a response to the revision of the University’s general education requirements. Additional improvements were designed by our department to further the depth and breadth of computer science knowledge attained through our undergraduate offerings.
